Meet The Candidate

Claire Rattée is a tattoo artist and owner of Kitimat’s first tattoo studio with her partner Oliver, serving Northwest BC for the past eight years. She is also a former City Councillor for the District of Kitimat and the youngest person to hold a seat on Kitimat Council.

Claire’s entrepreneurial experience and love of public service have driven her desire to represent the residents of Skeena-Bulkley Valley as their Member of Parliament.

Through her time on Kitimat Council she learned about effective governance and the need for strong federal representation in her riding during a time of significant local investment and opportunity. She is passionate about supporting responsible resource development, growing the small business sector and improving resources for mental health, addictions, and low-income housing.
